A Snapshot of Your Day:

The Field Service Representative (FSR) will lead/ contribute to various projects in Canada related to Field Service activity (maintenance or upgrade) of Large Nuclear or Gas Turbines in Power Ranges from MegaWatts.

The FSR will also provide/ ensure procedures and guidelines are followed for work and coordinate with the Siemens network. The FSR will maintain outage documentation to the standard. This enables our customers equipment reliability in generating electricity that feeds or Canadian grids or powers critical Canadian Industry. This position will be based in one of the Siemens Energy Canada offices in Oakville, ON.

How

You'll Make an Impact

Demonstrate a minimum of 38 years relevant experience working in the power generation industry.
Experience in the general maintenance of large gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and associated equipment.
Experience working to and updating complex schedules. Familiarity with related software such as Primavera and/or Microsoft Project.
Flexibility and willingness to work overtime as needed. Ability to travel up to 70%

What you Bring

Supervise mechanical maintenance crews ranging in size from 1 to 15 persons disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling large steam/gas turbine generators.
Lead job site safety programs and performs complex site surveys to develop maintenance plans.
Complete and submits detailed reports covering all job activity.
Complete the planning and estimating of resources and durations required for specific scopes of work for customer proposals.
Perform the review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual mentorship throughout task duration.
