We are currently looking for someone to join our Deer Creek Golf and Banquet team as a Back Shop Attendant who is passionate about Golf and who holds themselves to superior standards regarding customer service, guest experience and providing exceptional quality of service while assisting in all areas of requirement.


Job Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic, selfmotivated, and proactive
  • Punctuality in uniform with ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts (early morning, afternoon, evenings) including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to life 25lbsResponsibilities and Duties:
  • Engage customers whenever possible in a positive manner
  • Ensure power cart and pull cart fleets are clean and in a tidy manner
  • Keep and ongoing awareness and log of power cart conditions, reporting any discrepancies to pro shop or supervisor.
  • Responsible for providing clean and organized rental clubs and service
  • Ensure that all inquiries and requests are met efficiently and professionally
  • Record and document any safety hazards or other important situations and report then to your supervisor daily
  • Check the parking lot and area around the facility for pull and power carts as often as necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring the spike cleaners and surrounding areas are clean.
  • Responsible for ensuring the cart compound and outside areas of the building are clean and free of garbage/debris at all times.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving
  • Perform light maintenance duties including sweeping, vacuuming, washing windows, and trash disposal.
  • Use the guidance of the Golf Supervisor and Pro Shop for daily duties and direction, or any problems that you are unable to solve yourself
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures
  • Adhere to the employment policies and procedures as laid out in the golf course employment handbook
  • Perform other duties assigned by Manager and Supervisor

Requirements:


  • Basic understanding of the game of golf and related products an asset but not required
  • 1 year of experience working in a Golf Club an asset but not required


  • Good Physical Strength

  • Ability to stand/walk/bend/push/pull for extended periods of time.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow and take direction from Supervisors/Managers
