Summary
The Quality Assurance Department ensures that quality standards and procedures are met and
aligned with legislation and customer specifications. This individual is responsible for managing
the organizations quality assurance policies. The Quality Control Specialist will monitor
performance standards, procedures, and audit controls to meet business requirements.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and
**quality of company operations.
Quality Control Specialist areas of focus:
- Daily Product checks using the standard measurement tools such as the Color Reader,
measurement tools defined by the Operational Procedures on the floor and Quarantine
area.
- RMA Validation and Customer Issue Resolution
- Quality Alerts
- Creation, Communication and Verification of Understanding.
- QC Training for Step up Operators and other team members.
- Support and validate implementation of SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Quarterly Inventory (as participant)
- Collaborate with clientfacing QA representatives to ensure full customer satisfaction with
- Monitor supplier quality, including audits, controls, and other qualifiers.
- Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance.
- Complete and maintain Quality Assurance control documentation.
- Identify relevant Quality Assurance training needs and opportunities.
- First Aid Training
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of direct work experience with Quality systems, regulations, guidelines,
- Direct knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Practical experience with risk management, product testing, capability studies, and
- Highly motivated and selfdirected capable of multitasking, and able to work with mínimal
- Extremely detailoriented and analytical thinker.
- Able to interface directly with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to review technical documentation, including project plans, test procedures, and
- Able to perform quality audits.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
- A welldefined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Working Conditions
- Travel may be required.
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime as required.
