Operations include road construction, paving, highway maintenance, site development, land development and housing.     We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Driller responsible for assisting our crews in British Columbia. Although we are a union affiliated organization, being an active member is not a prerequisite.

    Job duties will include drilling of production and shear-line, and occasionally helping the blast crew.

    Qualifications:

  • Drilling experience around houses and urban settings is considered an asset
  • Have operational experience with hydraulic drills; including Tamrock 800, Ranger 700, and Traxxon / Montabert hoe mounted drills
  • Have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Natural ability to solve problems, communicate clearly and effectively;
  • Be flexible and willing to work night shifts if required;
  • Enjoy working outdoors in a fast paced and challenging environment;
  • Valid Canadian driver's license, with a clean driving abstract;
  • Experience working in the heavy civil construction industry
  • Be able to lay out drill patterns
  • Be able to work independently

    • Emil Anderson offers competitive wages and benefits in addition to a challenging and fun work environment.

    Wage Scale: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

    The wage range for this position will be discussed during the interview stage, taking into consideration candidate qualifications and experience.
