- Produce Engineering solutions to support Repair procedures and drawing deviations.
- Provide engineering / technical support to Customers, Maintenance facilities, Service Centers and other Bombardier departments.
- Organize investigations for service issues, determine causes of failure and devise effective and innovative solutions.
- Use judgment to recognize the implications of proposed solutions and be versatile in providing alternate ways to enable returning aircraft into service safely and to customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with other departments, service centers, vendors and suppliers.
- Provide 24/7 engineering & technical support to our customers.
- This position requires you to work alternating shifts covering days, nights, weekends and statutory holidays, as per a rotating schedule.
- You have five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in engineering related to aircraft structure or mechanical systems.
- You have knowledge of metallic and composite structure (an asset).
- You have a good knowledge of CATIA V5 (2D or 3D) and MS Office.
- You are a self-starter, capable of working with a minimum of supervision and you demonstrate innovation, professionalism and commitment qualities.
- You are a team player, always eager to help and help others.
- You have good verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
