If you share our values and would like to work with skilled professionals, Armour is presently seeking a Human Resources Recruitment Advisor to join our growing team from our downtown Halifax location.


Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, this role is accountable for the fullcycle recruitment process for all workforce requirements across the enterprise.
  • Guide and advise hiring management on all recruitment related updates and issues.
  • Work closely with hiring management and HR on ensuring recruitment needs are met in a timely fashion.
  • Advertise career opportunities to the market in a creative and "outside the box" manner to ensure the attraction of top talent.
  • Effectively utilize recruitment job posting platforms including Indeed, LinkedIn and other valueadded solutions.
  • Attend career fairs and recruitment events as required.
  • Generate valueadded recruitment reports for HR and hiring management team.
  • Assist with exit interviews to understand reasons for staff turnover and areas of improvement within the recruitment function.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Undergraduate degree; certificate or diploma in HR Management or related area.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in highvolume, fullcycle recruitment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective communication and relationship building skills.
  • A commitment to confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills with a focus on achieving deadlines.
  • Prior experience in the following industries is considered an asset: commercial real estate, hospitality, construction, leasing, property management.
