Description
**Who We AreSUMMARY
The
Accounting/Reporting Assistant reports to the RP1 Procurement Manager and provides support in areas of procurement including but not limited to: Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Financial Due Diligence, process compliance and governance, purchasing card and vendor compliance.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate Anti-Bribery and Corruption due diligence checks where and when required
- Facilitate Financial Due Diligence
- Perform FDD on potential new vendors on a where and when required basis Perform FDD on existing new vendors annually
- Prepare savings Glidepath spreadsheet from procurement logs
- Collaborate with the Procurement team to track and report RP1 vendor compliance. Assistance in responding to inquiries from vendors/Procurement regarding vendor compliance
- MERX Admin support
- Reporting for RP1 dashboard
- Vendor modification User additions/inactivation's
- Dashboard provide support to prepare and distribute RP1 dashboard KPI
- Coordinate Purchasing Cards for RP1 account; maintain cardholder profiles Complete audit on Purchasing Card activity
- Responsible for responding to inquiries made by internal and external stakeholders, including Facility Managers, Financial Controllers, Sourcing managers and vendors. Support the RP1 Procurement Manager with ongoing Audits of the Procurement process(es)
- Support the RP1 Procurement Manager as and when required
- Other duties as assigned**KNOWLEDGE & SKILL
- College diploma in business or other relevant program
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Bilingualism (French) is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong customer focus.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask under deadline pressure.
- Attention to detail.
