    We are a specialized recruitment agency, placingITpeople, we represent leading tech companies in Canada, connecting top-tier talent with innovative organizations. We're currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a prominent client in the Toronto area.

    My client is a team of high-performing problem solvers. They are digital experts focused on building a diverse set of products and solutions for their consumers. Their core products include mobile apps, self-serve kiosks, POS and delivery. They invest in areas like AI, IoT, and Machine Learning.

    They are looking for a Full Stack Developer who will collaborate with a solid team of developers, UX designers, and product managers to deliver requirements that are focused on creating new solutions rooted in the users' actual needs.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    Decompose user stories and translate them into detailed design specifications and code

    Deliver efficient, scalable code that flows with our codebase

    Interact with key business & technology stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver requirements that reflect the needs of both the business and end customers

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

    5+ years of experience with backend development and developing web applications with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (React.Js Vue.Js Node.Js)

    Experience building microservices

    Experience with REST/JSON services and building REST APIs

    Experience with AWS technologies and Serverless environments

    Using GIT or any other version control system

    Experience working on Agile teams and scaling applications
