    Description
    We are currently looking for a millwright on a day shift to join a manufacturing company located in Guelph.

    Shift:
    Straight Days Monday to Friday 6:55am to 3pm
    OT is after 8 hours per day.
    Unionized environment

    Pay:
    $39.89 and moves to $40.89 after 90 working days (probationary period)
    MUST HAVE A 433a ticket.

    **Please note in order to be considered for this role you must have at least 3 years of experience working in a similar role.

    In this role you will be doing 80%millwright tasks and 20% maintenance of the building - ie. drywall, hvac, plumbing and other assigned tasks

    Responsibilities

    Work as a solo millwright on the day shift, tasks will include: preventative maintenance, work orders, breakdowns, working with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

    Please note that you will be working as a millwright for about 80% of the time, the remainder of your day you will be the primary building maintenance person that will have to assist with other duties as assigned.

    (hvac, plumbing, drywall)

    Qualifications

    • Must have a valid 433a certificate
    • Must have at least 23 years working as a solo millwright
    • Must be comfortable with other duties assigned aside building maintenance
