Position Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Developing and maintaining relationships with carriers: You will be responsible for identifying and recruiting new carriers to join TA Services network of carriers, as well as building and maintaining positive relationships with existing carriers. This will involve regular communication and coordination to ensure that carriers have the capacity and resources needed to fulfill orders.
  • Negotiating rates and contracts: You will be responsible for negotiating rates and contracts with carriers to ensure that the company is able to offer competitive pricing to customers while also maintaining profitability. This may involve analyzing market trends and competitive offerings to determine optimal pricing and terms.
  • Coordinating transportation logistics: You will be responsible for managing the logistics of transportation operations, including scheduling, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that arise during transit. You will need to work closely with carriers and customers to ensure that shipments are picked up and delivered on time and in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Monitoring carrier performance: You will be responsible for tracking carrier performance metrics, such as ontime delivery rates and safety records, and taking action as needed to address any issues or concerns. You may also be responsible for conducting regular carrier reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Managing data and reporting: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of carrier contracts, rates, and performance data, and providing regular reports to management and other stakeholders. You may also be responsible for analyzing this data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Education and Experience:


  • 3+ years of 3PL brokerage experience
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience
  • Ability to work on site in Toronto CA
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Pay:
$100,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
