The Opportunity:
Vice President of Technology Operations
You will be responsible for the management of the teams and assets that serve as the technological foundation for our global enterprise.
This includes running the day-to-day technology operations, Service Desk, Operations Center, IT Service Management, End User Services and Client Engineering teams while executing the programs and activities necessary to modernize at the pace needed.
To be successful, you will need to partner with all Corporate IT and business leaders to coordinate operations, reporting and governance activities to meet current business commitments and resolve issues quickly.
You will also need to ensure that stability issues are being addressed, service availability is improving, and operations is moving in the right direction to reduce risk of outages that could impact the business.
You Are Great At:
- Oversee the management and performance of technology operations teams, ensuring optimal service delivery and infrastructure stability.
- Drive continuous improvement in technology operations, addressing stability issues, enhancing service quality, and ensuring alignment with longterm business needs.
- Establish strategy partnerships with, negotiate with, and manage key business partner and vendor relationships.
- Develop and communicate a clear vision for our technology operations roadmap.
- Provide perspectives and guide executive decisions based on personal experiences and connections and learnings from organizations and relationships.
- Ensure that technology operations teams and activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations for technology operations.
- Investigate and identify technology trends, solutions, standards and best practices especially around selfservice, AI/ML and automation.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customercentricity within the technology operations team.
What It Takes:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or applicable combination of education and experience, Master's degree or MBA preferred
- Extensive and deep experience in IT operations, also within a leadership role
- Proven experience in managing largescale technology operations for a global enterprise
- Indepth understanding of current and emerging technologies, and their potential impact on business operations
- Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives, crossfunctional teams, and external partners
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a highpressure environment
- Customer service orientation
- Management and leadership skills including coaching consensus building and ability to effectively manage resources to address competing priorities
- Strategic planning capabilities (approaches and processes tools deliverables) as well as experience with architecture frameworks
