Description

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
  • Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts
  • Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
  • Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Assemble finished parts as required

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of CNC machining processes
  • Experience with programming and operating CNC machines, including lathe and milling machines
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Minimum 2 year experience. Apprenticeship Available
