We are looking for an Accounting Administrator to join our team
The Accounting Administrator will support a group of companies including Kindred Home Care, GOJI properties, and others. We are a group of individuals who are innovative, energetic & forward-looking. We are looking to fill a role as Accounting Administrator to meet the growing needs of our team.

In a role as an Accounting Administrator you are responsible for ensuring transactions are recorded correctly, completing compliance reporting in a timely manner, and drafting financial information while working closely with a variety of departments and companies.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinating the monthly accounting cycle
  • General ledger entries and maintenance
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Accruals
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to advance continuous improvements in processes and reporting
  • Other accounting related duties and projects as needed

Requirements:


  • Business and/or Accounting Degree or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 35 years of experience working as an accountant in financial reporting
  • CPA considered an asset but not required
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero, and Sage.
  • Excellent financial and mathematical skills.
  • Good understanding of financial and bookkeeping processes and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Salary:
$53,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
