Linck Child, Youth and Family Supports ("Linck") requires two (2) Child and Youth Support Workers. These are contract, full-time (70 hours bi-weekly) positions beginning as soon as possible and lasting six (6) months.

Hours of work will be in accordance with individual support and operational requirements. Hours of work will primarily include daytime hours; however, afternoon, evening, night, weekend, and holiday hours may be needed.


Qualifications:


  • Early Childhood Education diploma, Developmental Services Worker diploma, Educational Assistant/Support diploma, or Child and Youth Care diploma.
  • Up to three (3) months related experience.
  • Computer and keyboarding skills, extensive use of wordprocessing programs.
  • Courtesy and tact required in explaining, exchanging information with clients and staff.
  • Valid certification in Standard Firstaid.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Use of a personal vehicle.
  • The ability to communicate in French is an asset.
  • Preference will be given to persons with a strong understanding and extensive experience working with other cultures, heritages and traditions; and
  • A commitment to developing the highest quality culturallyappropriate service possible for the various communities that we serve.
