    Job Description

    Working within a team of fire protection professionals, your work will help the company
    adequately meet the clients' expectations and ensure the profitability of the branch.

    In collaboration with Project Managers, you will be mainly responsible to coordinate all
    activities related to projects' completion from conception to installation. Among other things,
    your responsibilities will be to :

    • Assist the Project Manager to ensure that the project team adheres to provided timelines
      and deliverables;
    • Prepare all documentation required for the realization of the project;
    • Participates in regular Project Meetings, issue meeting minutes, logs and schedule updates
      as provided by the project team;
    • Create charts and schedules with the guidance of the Project Manager;
    • Assisting the Project Manager with administrative functions and processes;
    • Assist in the submission of all safety documentation;
    • Help to monitor and report projects progresses and track contract changes;
    • Work closely with vendors and do business partnering;
    • Manage and organize all project correspondence.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination of construction projects;
    • College diploma in fire protection or building mechanics or civil engineering or related field of study or a bachelor's degree in business (an asset);
    • Proficiency in standards and codes governing the conception and installation of automatic fire protection systems (an asset);
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Computer proficiency in and experience with MS Office suite of applications along with proven ability to quickly learn new applications.
    • Valid driver's license and own a vehicle.
