As a Marketing Specialist on the Go2 Marketing Team, you will be building brand awareness at the local level to the communities we serve.
You are a passionate, high-energy team member who is excited about taking on new innovative marketing approaches (think high-creative, guerrilla-marketing, personal) and driving each idea to a completed conclusion.
As a Marketing Specialist, you'll be part of a fast-paced team that looks to deliver results in a condensed time frame.
Go2 Marketing, a division of GoSales Inc, is a nation-wide partner and authorized reseller of TELUS.
The Role:
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams to develop a strategic plan(s) to effectively identify the key areas of opportunity to highlight the TELUS brand.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to engineering, planning, marketing, marketing, and sales in order to provide partnered businesses, building, community groups with whiteglove service.
- With entrepreneurial spirit, proactively reach out to local businesses, building, community groups and related groups through cold calling and networking events with the goal to develop long lasting relationships and partnership opportunities.
- Scale key partnerships to drive sales growth by setting ambitious targets and relentlessly removing barriers to achieve them.
- Coordinate activities for marketing events & campaigns to drive brand awareness.
- Provide insightful feedback on benefits that resonate well with business owners and customer demographics in the region.
- Drive innovation, creativity, and team collaboration to continuously improve upon best sales practices and fulfillment processes.
- Promote smart home & mobility sales, motivate, and train sales partners/agents on key priorities, including protecting the TELUS brand, winning the hearts and minds of the community, improving sales yield, and driving premium value from a premium network
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Selfstarter with proven organizational and timemanagement skills
- Strong relationship building abilities
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent research skills and a passion for event planning
- Good skills in Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Focused on the client experience
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to cope with ambiguity
- Must have a vehicle and be willing to work in the field
Great-to-haves
- University and/or technical school degree and experience
- 2+ years of training experience
- 2+ years of sales, customer support knowledge or experience
- 1+ years of telecom and/or home security experience business analysis or project management certification
- Event Planning certification
Salary:
$15.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
