    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services is currently searching for an Internal Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This position can be based in Acheson, Calgary, or Grande Prairie, Alberta. The Internal Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the intricate logistics involved in the transportation of heavy equipment including cranes and oversized loads.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Crane Logistics:
      - Provide logistical support to branches and the corporate office for crane moves.
      - Coordinate the transportation of cranes purchased from points beyond internal operations.
      - Ensure seamless customs compliance for Canada/US reporting.
      - Provide technical assistance to Branch Managers for large crane movements.
      - Work with approved third-party carriers to facilitate efficient transportation of cranes to their destinations.
    2. Trucking Logistics:
      - Create comprehensive load plans and loading/unloading scheduling for distribution to managers and dispatchers for review and approval.
      - Generate and distribute internal trucking rate sheets.
      - Facilitate internal trucking arrangements providing all the necessary requirements to ensure seamless operations.
      - Advocate for the utilization of internal resources over third-party vendors when mobilizing cranes to promote efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    3. Approved Transport Companies:
      - Review and recommend third-party transport companies for approval.
      - Evaluate newly approved transport companies via feedback from Branch Managers and Site Supervisors on service, quality, reliability, and pricing.
    4. Streamlined Logistics Coordination and Procurement Process:
      - Craft and distribute load plans and corresponding schedules to dispatch for review and scheduling confirmation.
      - Provide detailed requirements and subsequent Purchase Orders including all the necessary information for approvals.

    Qualifications:

    Experience within the Transportation and Logistics industry required. Must have previous experience organizing freight transport and working with permits and load bans in Western Canada. Cross-border shipment experience between Canada and US is necessary, along with knowledge of customs requirements.

    Proven attention to detail, ability to adapt to changing business demands, highly organized, proficient in various computer applications, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills.
