    Bankjoy provides modern digital banking products including mobile banking, online banking, online account opening, loan origination, and conversational AI. Our mission is to revolutionize banking tech infrastructure by leading digital transformation at financial institutions — big and small.
    The Principal Engineer will be responsible for architecting and developing robust business banking platforms. This role pays between 165k - 185k CAD per year.

    Lead the architectural design and development of business banking platforms, emphasizing transfer, payment systems, and permission management.
    Create and manage complex permission schemes, ensuring secure and compliant access to banking services.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies and best practices into the banking platform.
    Provide technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.

    Over 10 years of software development experience, with extensive expertise in enterprise platform architecture in the financial services or fintech sector.

    Strong knowledge of security protocols and compliance requirements in the banking industry.
    Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
    Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire engineering teams.
    or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
