An Alstom Regional Account Manager primary responsibilities are to monitor the market, identify and pursue sales opportunities within their customers and territory.

Alstom Regional Account Managers also helps to ensure a company's clients are satisfied with the products and services they've received.

A Regional Account Manager is responsible for obtaining revenue intake targets, customer satisfaction level, SAP and Wall C data updates that pertains to communications with the clients.

Regional Account Managers visit clients in-person when required as well as managing accounts remotely. Ultimately the role of an Regional Account Manager is to build long-lasting relationships with clients.


REQUIRED PROFILE:


  • Graduate Degree in Engineering or Business field
  • Master of Business Administration or in Engineering (Desirable)
  • At least 5 years' experience in rail or related business, or project engineering industry
  • High proficiency in organization's products and services
  • Good knowledge and connections with Transport clients / customers in the Country/Cluster/Region (Desirable)
  • Good numeric and analytical abilities
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to convince, influence & persuade
  • Good problem solving, critical thinking and decision making
  • Business development acumen and the ability to anticipate customer needs
  • Ability to adapt to demanding and changing environment
  • International mindset with good language skills
  • Sensitive to global & local cultural factors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team of engineers, project managers, customer service representatives
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Experience writing and delivering communications like proposals to customers
  • Responding to Overhaul and Parts bids experience
  • Ability to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build longlasting and meaningful relationships with clients
  • Acting as the point of contact if clients have any issues and helping them work through problems
