Description

The Childcare Worker's primary responsibility is to implement the childcare development program developed by the Junior Programs and Childcare Manager in an engaging, nurturing, and safe environment.

The position demands an outgoing pleasant temperament and a positive relationship with children and their parent(s) so they may enjoy their experience.


Schedule:
Weekends 9 am-1 pm

  • Implements programs for the Club's preschoolaged children
  • Cares for and fully interacts with children and gives daily updates to parents
  • Attends and helps coordinate some social functions for children
  • Promotes social programs and optimizes participation
  • Notifies the manager of all incidents, needs, concerns, and suggestions
  • Ensures a clean and safe environment is maintained
  • Abides by policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements:


  • Childcare experience, minimum 1 year working with infants and toddlers
  • Working with children ages 3 months to 7 years of age (
    experience with infants required)
  • Current Basic First Aid and Infant CPR Training
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Background check required
