Job Description:

About the role:

The
QA Technician position contributes to the success of WWS Vehicle Services Canada by providing Quality support to WWS management and our customers, ensuring customer Quality requirements are met.

The QA Technician performs Quality Audits and reports results to ensure procedures and practices are followed in all facets of the operation.

Quality Assurance monitors the condition of inbound and outbound customer vehicles and communicates information to customers and business partners.

Here is what an ordinary day of work might look like:

Conduct internal audits for compliance to ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards and AAR Standards and Recommended Practices.
Document and report any exceptions or damage to the customer's product from external and internal sources.
Initiate corrective actions and assist in root cause investigations.
Respond to a variety of customer requests and special instructions in a timely and efficient manner
Collect data to use as KPI for Quality and record and report monthly to WWS management
Document and

Record Control:
saving, tracking, and ensuring the integrity of the company's documentation, for easy retrieval and storage of records

Review and accept or deny customer vehicle transportation claims and process accepted transportation claims
Test torque tools and maintain calibration records.

Job Requirements:

This job is for you if you have:

Legally eligible to work in Canada
Some experiences in Quality Assurance.
BC Class 5 Driver's License with a good driving record
Flexible to work on shifts (Tue to Sat 7:00 AM 3:30 PM or Sun to Thur 7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
Comfortable and no limitation to working outdoors, climbing ladders, working at heights (20 ft) and in confined spaces.
Experience in dealing with both internal and external customers.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
Must be detailoriented, accurate, and reliable.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
