Contract - Canada Summer Job

This positions reports to:
Manager of In-Home Services and MOW

Proficient in the use of computers, including the Microsoft Office suite
Enrollment in or graduation from a postsecondary program (diploma or degree) in Social work, Social Service worker, or Gerontology is an asset.
Successfully complete Vulnerable Sector Screening check.
Schedule coordination of community Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and Home Support Workers (HSWs)
Conduct inhome assessments and reassessments for personal support and home support
Maintain uptodate client records that support tracking and organizational data entry requirements
Scheduling/Coordinating client assessments
Be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigrant and Refugee Protection Act* and;
Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

SALARY:
$17.55 / hour

Note:
This position is funded for 35 hours in total. Hours of work and duration of position will be determined based on the needs of the department
