RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent:

Assists in the planning/organization of research projects,
Completes patient questionnaires,
Performs data entry,
Ensures followup of patient information,
Reviews patient charts,
Accomplishes any other related tasks as required by the immediate supervisor.

Education / Experience

Master's Degree in a related field of study

Work Experience: 0 to 6 months. Prior experience with working with tumor tissues and with tumor pathology are a plus

Required Skills:

Proven organizational skills, coordination and working with patients' biomaterials is a plus
History of research in the field of oncology is an asset
Bilingual (written and spoken English & French),
Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills,
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with several people on a variety of projects,

Additional information

Status:
Temporary, full time (35-hour workweek)

Commensurate with education and experience
