Purpose:

Under the management of the Delivery Supervisor, the employee will maximize fleet efficiency by scheduling and coordinating the delivery activities of drivers as trained and specified in the company's Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assign daily delivery of parcels and coordinate run schedules
  • Communicate required maintenance and repairs of vehicle fleet
  • Oversee pre/post trip vehicle inspections
  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Report and escalate all delivery deficiencies to the appropriate department
  • Ensure all delivery documentation is complete/submitted in a timely manner
  • Team Player
  • Learn and helping out on a daily basis with Supplies and Equipment.
  • Use computer skills to create reports, and to monitor orders and outs.
  • Wiling to learn and work between two lines of business (dispatching and Supplies and Equipment)

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school
  • Minimum 1 year full time working experience as a dispatcher
  • Strong customer service skills/proven ability to interact with the elderly
  • Good knowledge of the entire Capital region, eastern Counties and Ottawa Valley
  • Health and safety awareness training is an asset
  • Fast Learner
  • Computer Skills


  • Team Player

  • Willing to help out in what is needed
