Job Description:

What you'll be doing


As part of the Simplii Lending Product Management team you will be an advocate for Simplii Financial clients and prospects, so they can have simple, clear and valuable client experiences through our remote business model.

Reporting to the Sr.

Product Manager, the Analyst's key responsibility is to support the delivery of high quality, customer focused products, processes and services.


The product team is accountable for the ownership of the Profit and Loss of the Simplii Mortgages & Lending portfolio and the development and execution of Lending Due Diligence enhancements throughout the RESL product lifecycle.

This team is also responsible for the establishment of an offshore and offshore administration support model and purify our underwriting practice to migrate all administrative activities to improve time to decision and overall expense.

This team is also responsible for the redevelopment of Simplii's portfolio insurances and approach to valuation and securitization to drive cost efficiencies and revenue generation.

Finally, this team is accountable for re-platforming and completely digitizing our closing solutions to enabling the lowest touch closing process possible, and collaborating with other product leads to develop and maintain a franchising practice ensuring deeply engaged clients.

How you'll succeed- Product Ownership - Develop, implement, measure and iterate on an overall Mortgages & Lending product strategy including but not limited to: Product construct, pricing, policy, segmentation, acquisition, retention, and fulfillment to drive overall long term asset and revenue growth.- Operational Support - Provide operational, financial and technical support to team members from other functional areas for product development and operations during and after implementation, including problem resolution- Continuous Improvement - Provide on-going process management for all Simplii Lending Products.

Develop, recommend and implement the tactical and strategic component of business plans to optimize efficiency, profitability and maintain compliance with regulations.

- Client Focus - Attend client product/project meetings, coordinate deliverables, monitor progress and negotiate delivery for successful implementation


Who you are- You possess strong knowledge of business analysis principles and methodologies.- You are experienced and well-versed with knowledge of mortgages & lending product including adjudication, related regulation and systems.- You can demonstrate analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret client needs and recommend functional and cost effective solutions.- You have acquired knowledge of project management methodology.- You posses excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.- You have advanced working knowledge of MS Office- Values matter to you.
