Responsibilities:

o Responsible for control and reconciliation of multiple internal accounts, reports, and platforms related to conversion activities and other reconciliation and monitoring functions

o Monitors and supports daily activities and job processing

o Provides timely feedback, response, analysis and action on any exception logs and anomalies

o Validates the daily control activities performed within the team

o Acts as a support lead in handling time sensitive and complicated tasks or activities

o Liaises with various internal teams, to investigate any anomalies in specific activities, including reconciliation of certain GLs and internal accounts

o Works with management to monitor and manage various department mailboxes and reports to ensure that all items are within SLA

o Monitors escalated issues and provides progress report to impacted stakeholders or management

o Works with management to address any process or control gaps and makes recommendations on any opportunities for efficiencies

o Investigates any irregularities and discrepancies within the defined SLA

o Assists in various daily and monthly reporting as required

o Represents the team in various key initiatives and works closely with direct manager to ensure that any changes impacting the team are considered and addressed

o Escalates and makes recommendations or resolutions about any inquiries or issues requiring immediate attention

o Ensures that any deliverable is accurate, clear, complete, and compliant with internal and external audit and regulatory requirements.


o Participates in special projects and carries out any other similar or general task at the request of their manager or that may be required by their function.


Qualifications:

o University Degree in a related field and 2 years of related experience in a similar environment; or,

o College Diploma and 3 to 5 years of related experience in a similar environment.

o Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.

o Solid knowledge of Visa, banking, deposits, Mortgage, Loans, Securities, and other lending or investment products.

o Able to work in a high-volume environment with tight deadlines.


o Familiarity with using large and complex financial database systems; ability to learn inquiry functions in back-office processing systems such as FDR and SIBL are assets.


ADDITIONNAL INFORMATION
o Different shifts are needed to cover the monitoring during and after business hours

o It may be required to be present in the office for particular tasks (hybrid mode)
