What You'll Do
- Plan logistics of the trip and obtain appropriate paperwork
- Deliver boats to customers and other Pride locations
- Instruct customers on how to properly use their boat, including docking lessons, loading and unloading the boat onto trailer, and maintenance schedule
- Maintain confidentiality surrounding customer information
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
- Trailer boats to and from customers and other Pride locations, launching when required
- Pickup and deliver customer boats by water
- Perform pretrip, en route, and posttrip inspections on vehicle and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift, including daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, following applicable provincial and federal regulations
- Provide feedback to management and service department regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
- Assist in the winterization process by shrink wrapping and cleaning boats
- Maintain a clean and professional location by removing and properly disposing of waste
- Work as a team with all crewmembers
- All other duties as assigned
What We'd Like From You
- 24 years of delivery driver and/or customer service experience preferred
- Experience in trailering, driving and launching boats considered an asset
- Valid G driver's license required with a clean drivers abstract
- Pleasure Craft Operator card required
- Flexibility to work irregular hours during peak periods, including weekends
- Comfortable in a physically demanding role with regular lifting, pushing, kneeling and reaching
