- Review invoices to be paid and validate that the prices correspond to the contracts with the various suppliers
- Compare invoices, receiving slips and purchase orders to ensure that quantities, description and prices are consistent and correct discrepancies if any;
- Ensure that invoices are approved by authorized individuals;
- Enter invoices and credit notes into accounting systems;
- Verify and reconcile supplier statements;
- Prepare regular payment batches according to agreed upon schedules and prepare ad hoc payments
- Follow up on credits issued by suppliers;
- Perform initial analysis and followup on problematic invoices;
- Process accounting journal entries;
- Maintain professional contact with suppliers;
- Follow up on expense accounts;
- Generate various reports and reconciliations related to accounts payable and intercompany accounts;
- Perform other account reconciliations;
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
- DEP, AEC, DEC in accounting
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role
