Description

Canadian Children's Art Foundation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Art Summer Camp Supervisor to join our team for the summer camp 2023 at our Mississauga location.

As the Art Summer Camp Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and fun environment for campers, supervising art instructors, managing daily activities, communicating with parents and guardians, and organizing the camp space.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

This position is for our second location in Mississauga which is Lorne Park Baptist Church (1500 Indian Rd, Mississauga, ON L5H 1S7)
Supervise and support art instructors in delivering engaging and ageappropriate art activities for campers.
Manage daily camp activities, ensuring that campers are safe and engaged
Be responsible for daily parent signin and signout
Be present for before and after care when necessary
Communicate with parents and guardians, providing updates on camp activities and addressing any concerns or questions
Organize and clean up the space when necessary, ensuring that materials are properly stored and the space is tidy and safe
Weekly preparation of the space, ensuring that all necessary materials and supplies are stocked and ready for use
This position is just for the summer camp (July 3 and September 1)

Key Qualifications:

Hold a degree (Diploma, Bachelor, etc.) in Art, preferably in visual arts or the related fields
Have at least 2 years of experience in supervisory or teaching positions
Fluent in English
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Having First Aid certificate
