Position Summary
The Back End Slitter Bander is responsible for all activities involving the slitter recoiler. They are responsible to assist unloading material onto the coil cart and exit turn stile.

What you'll do:

Setting up the slitter overarms correctly to the proper size as per the work order

Secure coils on the recoiler with proper banding and taping requirements

Change separator arms

May be required to operate a crane

What you'll need:

Minimum Grade 12 education

Previous experience in a manufacturing industry is an asset

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Good mathematical and troubleshooting skills

Basic computer skills

Ability to multi task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in order to meet deadlines

Working Conditions:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Able to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines must be met

Ability to work Overtime as required
