What You Will Do:

The Manager, Capital Reporting & Systems is responsible for the development, management and continuous improvement of corporate systems, tools and reporting that enable the effective management and performance of corporate financial planning, budgeting, financial management and control services to senior management and the Board. The incumbent will support the annual capital planning and budgeting process for the TTC from initiation to approval by the TTC Board and City Council. This requires the planning, development and continuous improvement of capital budgeting systems, templates, tools including data warehouse and business intelligence reporting, reporting and related training used in the annual budget process; data review and quality assurance processes; provision of capital planning, budget and project data to support corporate analysis, insights, and asset management plan; and corporate consolidation of the recommended 10year Capital Plan that enables the delivery of TTC capital priorities and 15year Capital Investment Plan that provides TTC's capital needs over a 15year planning horizon. This role also supports the development of all budget documents and presentations necessary for TTC Board and City Council approval. As the Manager, Capital Reporting & Systems your responsibilities will also include leading the data review of financial and nonfinancial data, quality assurance and consolidation of TTC's financial performance including supervising the identification, analysis and resolution of anomalies to ensure data integrity of the consolidated financial performance results for the corporate Quarterly and Annual Variance Reports to the Board and the City. This role also manages the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of corporate capital and financial performance dashboards that report financial health and performance metrics and support corporatewide analyses, including trending of capital expenditures, spending rates, underspending, capital funding, use of capital resources and complement management. This role manages the establishment of approved capital budget, plan expenditures, funding and corporate capital budget calendarization in TTC's SAP financial system, maintains and updates the system throughout the fiscal year to reflect approved inyear budget and capital complement changes, and works with the Financial Planning & Analysis Capital team to ensure changes are in compliance with all applicable policies and confirm all required approvals are obtained. The incumbent will also support numerous transformational programs, including the TTC's Finance Transformation and SAP Implementation programs, contributes to corporate business training programs and collaborates with Business Partner Support to improve service delivery to Finance's Business Partners, increase operational and financial performance, minimize risk and ensure leading practices are employed at the TTC. The Manager, Capital Reporting & Systems will be responsible for developing and leading a highperforming team; ensuring effective teamwork, high standards of work quality, accuracy, timeliness and organizational performance; encouraging continuous learning and innovation.
