Position:
Maintenance Person

Department:
Maintenance

Reports To:
Maintenance Manager

Position Summary:
Ensure the property is in perfect working condition to exceed our guest expectations.

Working Hours:
Tuesday to Sunday 9-5:30

Specific Duties
Ø Painting - furniture touch ups, ceilings, doors, ability to match colours, a steady hand

Ø Plumbing - changing taps, toilets, drains, guest rooms, public washrooms and restaurant

Ø Drywall - repairing, installing

Ø Woodworking

Ø Caulking - attention to detail

Ø Physically able to lift, push and pull items up to 40 lbs

Ø Moving furniture

Ø Tile repairs

Ø Multitask in a face paced environment

Ø Prioritize

Ø Effective communication and reporting

Ø Achieve great Medallia scores for working order of amenities

Ø Ability to work independently and/or in team - a self-starter

Ø Able to complete tasks without supervision

Ø Grounds keeper - maintaining property

Ø Indoor pool maintenance

Ø Mechanically inclined, able to follow instructions to build furniture and or work tools such as housekeeping carts etc.

Ø Positive, CAN DO attitude and ability to help all departments when needed

Ø All other duties assigned by management

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
