The Housing Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support for employee housing and assisting the Director of Business Support Services in overseeing housing and facilities operations.

Additionally, this role supports the Director of Facilities and Maintenance by coordinating appointments for services, escalating issues, and ensuring smooth communication within the company.


Role and Accountability:


  • Maintain employee house assignments based on onsite volume, optimizing costsaving initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support for daytoday employee housing operations, including recordkeeping and correspondence.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with government regulations and health/safety standards for employee housing.
  • Coordinate communication and documentation for employee housing operations, ensuring accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain administrative processes and cleaning procedures for employee housing operations.
  • Manage rental contracts and coordinate housing improvements and renovations.
  • Ensure employee housing meets cleanliness standards through regular inspections.
  • Oversee cleaning schedules and supervise external cleaning companies if applicable.
  • Manage health and sanitation compliance in employee housing facilities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee housingrelated issues, addressing and escalating concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Facilities and Maintenance to address issues promptly.
  • Actively participate in crosstraining initiatives to support Business Support Services team members.
  • Attend meetings and represent the business support services perspective of employee housing operations, championing initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness for all employees as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Familiarity with administrative tasks and processes related to housing management, regulatory compliance, and health/safety standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage administrative tasks and support TFW housing and facilities operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective correspondence and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 12 years of administrative experience in a housing, facilities, or related environment.
  • Previous experience with regulatory compliance, health, and safety standards related to housing operations is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for efficient administrative support.
  • Familiarity with budget tracking and project coordination is desirable.
Salary $55,000 annually
