The Role and Opportunity:
The Canadian Mental Health Association is looking for a Residential Crisis Support Worker (RSCW) for the Safe Bed Program.
The
Safe Bed Program provides
_ _24-hour on-site residential support and short-term case management services to individuals living with mental illness who have been involved with the criminal justice system.
CMHA Toronto proudly provides services to over 10,000 clients per year, in 31 programs at 13 locations across the City of Toronto.
Our services are delivered by a passionate and diverse team.Join us in providing high quality mental health and addictions services, advocating for a better mental health system, and providing education and mental health supports to clients across Toronto.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to the Program Manager, the RCSW work closely with the team to supporting clients. The RCSW will work out of the Wilson Site and be required to work Saturdays from 10:00 p.m. 8:30 a.m.
The RCSW will also be required to maintain trusting, respectful and collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues; service providers and other community supportsSKILLS YOU BRING
