Summer Internship, Scientific Marketing Affairs - Animal Health - Poultry (Ontario)
As a Animal Health Summer Student you will have an opportunity to work with various animal health professionals in a business, clinical and research environment.
Moreover, this is a great way to gain exposure to our Company's Animal Health's business offerings, providing valuable learning opportunities and exposure for young professionals with an interest in poultry.
In this role your project would consist of:
Participation in a research project in partnership with a clinic, a hatchery, or a farm depending on the selected project
Engagement with project leader throughout the summer project
On site collection of relevant samples
Entering and analyzing data collected
Preparing a report to be presented to our Company's Animal Health and partner and/or a relevant local/provincial association in Ontario
Qualifications:
Interest in poultry medicine
Interest in population medicine
Full-time veterinary student at the Ontario Veterinary College
Must be available for the entire summer student mandate (May-end of August 2023)
Able to comply with biosecurity protocols and local public health requirements
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
Language skills:
English (French language an asset)
