    LOCATION :

    The Associate Student Pastor will assist theStudent Pastor in guiding, leading, and equipping students in our StudentMinistry and the local community.

    Commitment to assisting in all areas of student ministry andpartnering with the Kids Ministry Team for the success of kids, students andfamilies is critical for this role.

    Able to develop (write) and teach content andcurriculum for Student Ministry

    • The church qualifies and commissions a pastor as anindividual who has been given the responsibility and or authority to administerin full or in part the following:
    • kids;Leador have oversight of a church ministry, program, or department
    • Performreligious/spiritual functions of the church
    • Pastoral(not licensed) counsel

    A Cross TimbersChurch pastor will become a part of the Pastor On-Call rotation cycle whichhelps the organization accomplish and meet the needs of various pastoralaspects in the life and ministry of the church.

    Oversee Students on Sunday mornings, including butnot limited to, management of content and curriculum, recruiting and leadingServe Team, and setup and

    • Build relationships at local schools throughvisibility within the community, attending school and/or community functionswith an emphasis on Argyle Middle School, Argyle High School, and LibertyChristian
    • Assist in writing and creating the curriculum forWednesday nights, Sunday nights
    • Help organize and coordinate Student Ministryevents

The established work week is Sunday through Saturday for payrollpurposes and is based upon a 40-hour work week. Full-time staff work weeks are categorized by position as Monday –Friday or Sunday–Thursday. This role maybe approved for a flex schedule which include the potential for 1-2 days remoteworking with the remainder of the workdays in-office. The hours listed below are generalized work hoursand may or may not be done in the office depending on the needs of the positionand approval of the manager on any given day. Employees must understand that ministry does not always fall within anormal schedule and working outside of that schedule can periodically includingweekends, evenings and holidays for CT sponsored events that are essential(required). Additional hours outside thenormal scope of the role such as these will be coordinated with the manager andmay be accommodated with comp time and/or a temporary adjustment to the normalschedule.
    • o Sunday 7a.m. - o Sunday 1p.m. - All full-time employees are required to attendessential staff meetings/functions. Allemployees will have various essential (required) workdays such as Christmas andEaster services and possibly the week leading up to each holiday or surroundingother essential functions/events. The schedule for these services or otherspecial events (in-person or digital) can vary according to the needs and theyearly calendar as determined by Leadership. Work is generally performed indoors but mayinvolve limited exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
