The Travel and Global Mobility Advisor is focused on delivering enhanced support across travel, relocation, immigration, and tax.

We are looking for an advisor to improve our employee experience and facilitate the movement of Life Sciences travelers to customer sites globally, often with little lead time, and support global assignments.


Responsibilities

  • Provides travel and immigration advice and support to the Life Sciences segment. The scope includes travel, relocating employees, assignees, etc.
  • Acts as an internal consultant for managers and project managers to understand travel advisories, entry requirements and other issues that would impact travelers
  • Provides guidance and advice to HR partners, managers & assignees on international assignment matters; provides recommendations and challenges exceptions to policies
  • Partner for employees' immigration and relocation cases, including internal employees and new hires
  • Maintains current knowledge on international HR and expatriate compensation market practices
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline and/or create scalable, global Life Sciences processes; works with stakeholders to create, document, implement, and educate on new processes
  • Creates and maintains templates, training and informational materials that will enhance the relocation & immigration experience
  • Understands legislative changes that may influence our programs
  • Manages vendor service interactions and acts as the point person in addressing service level problem issues and resolutions approaches

Employee responsibilities for Health, Safety and Environment include:

  • Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures
  • Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockouttagout methods
  • Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts
  • Report defect in any equipment or protective device
  • Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
  • Attend all required health, safety and environmental training
  • Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
  • Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
  • Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct

Qualifications

  • University degree or postsecondary diploma.
  • 25 years of relevant experience; travel, immigration and mobility experience preferred
  • Experience managing internal and vendor relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, and strong decisionmaking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate across jurisdictions and cultures
  • Leads through the Company's core values: people, process and performance
