Pantos Logistics Canada Inc. provides top global logistics solutions to over +1,000 clients in services areas of Ocean, Air, E-Commerce, Trucking, Customs Brokerage, Warehousing and Cargo Projects. The company's expertise includes custom brokerage, storage, and in-bound/out-bound TRANSPORTATION via various modes of transport, including Sea Freight, Air Freight, Truck Freight, and Express. We are currently focusing on LG Canada Inc. as a principal customer.


Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot IT hardware and software related issues employees are facing.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level support personnel.
  • Provide answers and explanations with accurate information to users. Train them if necessary.
  • Address network and internet related issues and provide level 1 support.
  • Provide a single window for IT asset (PC, Printer, Monitor and other peripherals) purchase, replacement, and repair. Asset and lifecycle management using Asset System.
  • Search, evaluate, and contract reliable IT supply and service vendors. Maintain vendors' service level.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
  • Report to Team/Part Leaders with the progress of given tasks and complete them in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of IT support or help desk experience.
  • Bachelor in IT & Computer Science, or equivalent/related education or degree.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve Hardware & Software related technical issues.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and execute multiple support requests simultaneously.
  • Periodic business travel may ne necessary for onsite support and professional development.

Preferred Experiences and Skills

  • Experiences or certificates with Cisco Networking devices.
  • Experiences with Microsoft Windows Server management and Active Directory Services.
  • Experiences with Information Security solutions, policies, and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problemsolving skills and ability to assess available resources and to attain them.
  • Documentation and organizing skills using various software tools.
  • Proficiency in English and Korean is an asset.
