Wood is seeking aConstruction Manager to join our growing Oil & Gas team in
Edmonton, Alberta .
Our projects team has a long history of delivering some of the biggest and most complex projects in Oil & Gas along with associated pipelines and refinery infrastructure.

- Responsible for adhering to the BMS Construction Management documentation
- Ensure all site activities are performed in a safe, environmentally responsible manner with integrity and quality delivering Wood HSSE targets
- Promote Wood safety standards
- Promote Wood Core Values
- Provide leadership in addressing safety objectives for all Construction Management activities
- Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance
- Provide Construction Method Statements and input to FEED study documents
- Deliver Construction input from project kickoff through to system handover
- Conduct surveys and generate reports
- Coordinate resources to execute the work scopes
- Review design documents and provide Constructability input
- Input to HAZIDs / HAZOPs as required (Construction Management Manager to appoint a suitable person / delegate)
- Conduct Constructability / Readiness reviews (Construction manager to appoint suitable person / delegate
- Performance managing the Construction Management teams at fabrication/Construction sites
- Attend client and project specific meetings
- Management of progress efficiency
- Support individual development within the Construction Management function
- More than 20 years experience as a Construction Manager or similar role within Oil & Gas is considered an asset
- PMP designation is an asset
- Trades certification an asset
- Professional communication
- Well versed with Microsoft Office Suite
