Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Inspector will be responsible for accurately locating underground Gas facilities and ensuring compliance with regulations and documentation procedures.

Please note that this is a full time, unionized position. Hourly rate ranges from $27 to $37 per hour depending on the level of experience and skill set.

What You'll Do Here:

Locate underground Gas facilities accurately using utility mapping software and electronic locating equipment.
Ensure compliance with Enbridge regulations.
Understand, prioritize, and respond to work requests dispatched by office.
Understand and manipulate utility records (review identify and interpret).
Review and interpret schematics/blueprints/composites.
Effectively identify and document utility location and follow proper documentation procedures.
Assure the coordination between contractor(s) and all onsite personnel are met with Enbridge's requirements and guidelines.
Identify potential safety concerns for installation crews and public.
Complete audits/verification of field records and installations.
Perform locate verification for crews.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

What you bring to the Team:

Graduate from the Civil Engineering/ Technologist / Construction Management programs.
A Minimum of 3 years of locating experience is required for this role.
Experience in vital main inspection/locating underground gas facilities is a strong asset.
Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents.
