Role Summary:

_**Chubb's Winnipeg branch is recruiting for a Security Technician to perform high-quality service work, along with completing installations, renovations and programming for our current customers and provide superior customer service.

**_

Key Job Responsibilities:
_**- Coordinate, install and program systems (alarm, access control and CCTV) as per the customer's specifications

  • Communicate with customers to identify the source of the problem of their alarm system.
  • Complete service calls, and 24 hours emergency service calls.
  • Independently performs quality service, and maintenance and recommends improvements.
  • Ensures that customer satisfaction is met.
  • Tests the system to ensure that the service performed was successful. Where capable, performs necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Trains customers on the operation and proper use of the system.
  • Instruct customers on the basic working knowledge of the system.
  • Independently perform highquality service, and proper maintenance and make recommendations for improvement to the system if needed.
  • Perform Verification duties as assigned by the Security Coordinators
  • Coordinate with Sales Representatives and Security Coordinators
  • Work to meet all installation and service call deadlines
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required
  • Overnight travel is a requirement of the role

Qualifications:
_**- Post-secondary education in electronics and/or networking will be valued

  • Must have a Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand and power tools
  • Computer and network knowledge in order to set up systems
  • Basic understanding of electrical code and requirements

  • Limited Specialized Trade Electricians' License
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • A valid Canadian provincial driver's license with a clean record
  • Knowledge of Access Control, Alarms and CCTV systems
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
