PROFILE
The position can be based out of any of our offices.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure, implement, and maintain the M365 Online environment, including Teams and SharePoint; this includes helping to migrate content from network drives, and other systems to SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
  • Install upgrades and maintaining current versions of software and install new software as required.
  • Ensure compliance and consistency with software as used across the firm. Work within standard ITIL service management processes of Changes, Incidents, Service Requests and Problems, and utilise appropriate change and release procedures to ensure the smooth operation of business services.
  • Prepare written evaluations on the advantages and disadvantages of tested software.
  • Participate or lead IT projects.
  • Schedule and issue advisories of system maintenance periods in a manner that permits sufficient notice to be given to the user community.
  • Maintain technical support relationships with software vendors to ensure services are provided effectively.
  • Keep up to date with changing technologies and the benefits and advantages they may offer.
  • Any other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College Diploma in Computer Science.
  • Four years directly relevant experience.
  • Working experience and knowledge of SharePoint Online Modern Sites and Document Libraries, Microsoft Teams, Office 365 Groups, M365 roles and permissions model, PowerShell scripting to configure Azure and M365 and Power Automate scripting/workflow
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other Firm members, with the aptitude to take care of clients' needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Capacity to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Produce a high quality and quantity of work product, occasionally under tight timelines.
  • Able to prioritize and to redefine priorities when necessary.
  • Handle stress in a businesslike manner.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to navigate operating systems.
  • Configuration management and query software.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) an asset.
