Responsibilities:


  • Develop or comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet business needs.
  • Analyze and propose transportation approaches considering intermodal/crossdocking alternatives when available and acceptable.
  • Train, develop, and supervise onshore logistics staff delegating work as required.
  • Make shipping plan/schedule and organize trucking resources based on shipping requests.
  • Carry out continuous improvement in transportation process and route optimization.
  • Arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
  • Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and temporary storage of goods.
  • Manage department's performance, prepare reports for senior management, and plan for changes to schedules and policies.
  • Negotiate for services and rates.
  • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
  • Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.

Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 3+ years relevant experience
  • Proficient in Mandarin.
  • Designations/certifications related to transportation.
  • Hours: Flexible

Salary:
$68,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
