  • Provide daytoday support for customer accounts and serve as a primary service point of contact between the customer and the company. This includes providing customer support, technical support, planning and optimization for the accounts, as well as developing a relationship with the customers. Take incoming calls from customers requiring rental equipment or servicerelated issues, and then quotes the customer. Follows up with customers after quoting to obtain feedback, answer questions, and obtain purchase orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 1. Communicate with customers to review and analyze their requirements and determine which product will be the best fit.
  • 2. Create customer proposals in compliance with company standards and contract language.
  • 3. Quote pricing to customers on standard products (including sales or rental of equipment or service to be provided).
  • 4. Prepare configurations, equipment lists, clarifications and exceptions for use by other departments such as engineering, sales, estimating, manufacturing, etc.
  • 5. Act as customer contact regarding rentals, service jobs, scheduling, and shipping.
  • 6. Coordinate expediting activities with other departments to assure accuracy in pricing, delivery, invoicing, etc.
  • 7. Enter orders into the system for customers and sales leads into CRM system.
  • 8. Follow up on any standard product leads and close the sales.
  • 9. Prepare periodic reports tracking activities, costs, and other management information.
  • 10. Make pricing decisions based on previous standards regularly and customarily.
  • 11. Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers, and peers effectively.
  • 12. Comply with policies, procedures, standards, and rules of the Company.
  • 13. Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
  • 14. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
  • 15. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
  • 16. Perform all other jobrelated duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or one to three years equivalent work experience, of which, one must be in inside sales or customer service.
  • Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.
  • Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
  • Good understanding of business mathematical concepts.
  • Extensive knowledge of company systems and software.

Physical and Technical Environment:

  • Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment.
  • Ability to routinely travel throughout multifloor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs, utilizing elevator.
  • Clean and orderly manufacturing environment and/or normal office conditions, changing deadlines and project requirements, strict time constraints.
