What you'll do:
- Ensure the effective functioning, upkeep, and appearance of the Residence's common areas and Residents' suites
- Manage a team consisting of an Environmental Services assistant and housekeepers
- Completes all inspections, drills, and other tasks related to safety and emergency preparedness
- Perform minor repairs, and manage costeffective contracts for other maintenance tasks
- Coordinate requirements for moveout inspections with other departments
- Select and/or recommend maintenance equipment
What you bring:
- Minimum three years' experience as a maintenance person
- High School diploma or equivalent required, and a diploma in Healthcare Environmental Services Management is an asset
- Skills in light carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting and equipment maintenance
