Lambton College, a public community college in Ontario, has licensed its curriculum to Queen's College to deliver programs to international students in Mississauga.

Queen's College's Registrations Department is seeking an Administrative Assistant who is keen on serving international students.

  • Do you have over a year experience preferably working in an office environment providing customer service, are you proficient in MS Office, can you multitask, do you have analytical skills, and can you work independently? If yes, then please apply_

Position:
On campus Registrations Office Assistant


Main duties include:


  • Following important dates and deadlines for the Registrations department
  • Remaining up to date on programs and student policies
  • Assisting students with inquiries regarding tuition payments, support letters, student accounts and other relevant processes
  • Creating presentations and delivering webinars, presentations, and host events
  • Data and file management
  • Reporting and working closely with the Manager of the Registrations department
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Diploma in Business, Management, Communication, Psychology or relevant field or higher education in relevant field required
  • Over a year experience in an office setting
  • Fluent in English written and verbal, and excellent telephone etiquette
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Highly responsible, reliable and works with integrity
  • Proactive and problemsolving skills
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management, strong prioritizing skills and ability to work under tight deadlines for multiple processes
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Ability to adapt to new processes quickly and to learn new technological tools
  • A professional, friendly, and a welcoming attitude to uphold the image of the College when communicating with students and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other staff members
  • An understanding of challenges that international students face preferable

Additional information:


  • Work hours: 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm EST regular shift. Expected to work extra hours and on weekends during the busy time of the semester, if required
