Role Responsibilities:


  • Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive administration
  • Retention and Sharing policy management
  • DNS and network connectivity principles
  • Power Apps, Power Automate and Microsoft Forms
  • Security and Compliance
  • Microsoft Cloud App Security
  • Azure Active Directory and Azure Information Protection
  • PowerShell scripts in support of automation
  • M365 tenant features and design of production deployments
As the Network Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Monitoring, operation and support of the Courts network and audio/video integration;
Perform evaluation of new technologies and products, and may provide second line desktop support;

  • Responsible for life cycle management of computer network, services, and storage equipment;
  • Provide computer systems related technical expertise to both Court Technology Services and Court Business staff;
  • Coordinate maintenance agreements including renewals
  • Provide supporting information for network system procurements.
  • You will be required to travel to support both the Calgary and Edmonton Data Centers as well as base and Rural Court House network equipment (as and when required).
  • Participate in the oncall rotation and be able to respond to critical or high severity alerts after hours and follow documented steps to address such issues

Qualifications:

University graduation in Computer Science or a related discipline, plus four years of directly related experience is required. Supervisory experience will be considered an asset.

2+ years of Microsoft Azure cloud computing administration

MSCE certification, LINUX+ CompTIA, CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE (preferred) will all be considered assets.

Hands on experience in deploying Thousandeyes, DNAC and SDWAN will be highly desired.


Equivalencies will be considered based on: A related two-year diploma in computer technology or a related discipline from a recognized postsecondary institution and two years related experience; or a related one-year certificate from a recognized postsecondary institution and three years related experience.
