About You
You are familiar with the automotive industry and interested in working in an environment where you are constantly on the move, completing various tasks, and helping others.
You are also willing to take on other work in the lot, yard, and around the shop when the opportunity presents itself.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Certified Service including preventative and routine maintenance on vehicles.
- Perform lube oil filter services changing oil, oil filters, air filters, light bulbs, and checking fluids.
- Daily servicing including fueling, fluid levels, tire pressure, components, and filters.
- Lot duties such as boosting cars, moving vehicles, etc.
- Detail cars, limos, and buses and wash the exterior of various vehicles
- Pick up parts, vehicles and other of premise duties
- Maintain the work area in a safe and organized manner.
- Additional tasks are required
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience as an oil and lube technician
- Work experience within an Oil/Lube shop environment and/or dealership
- Experience with automotive repair is an asset and basic mechanical aptitude
- Own tools required
- Exceptional customer service and communications skills
- Selfdriven and motivated, with the ability to prioritize and work independently
- Coachable and open to continuous learning opportunities
- High attention to detail, positive attitude with strong work ethic and team player, reliable and punctual, ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong computer skills
- Valid Drivers License (non GDL); Clean 5year Drivers Abstract
- High School Diploma
Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Mobility to access and move in/out of vehicles and equipment
- Frequent standing, driving, and walking
- Garage, yard, and office environments
- May encounter a moderate amount of noise, odor, and dust.
