RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops tracking mechanisms to identify equipment failure points, drive operational uptime and equipment reliability throughout the facility.

Leads, trains, and supports reliability team members as needed to develop individuals' skills and expand team capabilities. Interacts productively with clients and all levels of JLL management.

Actively involved in oversight of maintenance repairs.

Create reliability plans that increase the uptime of the facility.

Performs extensive root cause analysis (RCA) following unplanned downtime and critical systems impact.

  • Crafts response strategies based upon RCA lessons learned, improving longterm system reliability.
Demonstrates flexibility to work various shifts and alternative work schedules as needed.

Moves throughout the facility extensively during shift to attend to equipment and team members as needed.

Essential functions include

Coordinate and plan work activities for the inventory control specialists and maintenance planners to accomplish goals and objectives of North America Customer Fulfilment (NACF) teams.


Act as first level escalation support for the inventory control specialists and maintenance planners during and after business hours ensuring spares and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) support is available.


Work closely with Fulfilment Center (FC) Operations, Operations Engineering, FC Start-Up Team, RME Reliability Team, Central Planning, ACES team, and Safety in supporting building systems optimization, maintenance and project implementation.

Monitor equipment reliability metrics and partner with the operations team to prioritize work and improvements.

Lead the Root Cause Analysis and Permanent Corrective Action activities at the site.

Identify opportunities to increase equipment reliability and uptime, reduce costs and associated work.

Make full use of condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance tools to avoid unplanned repair work.

Assist with skill assessments for the technical positions within NACF maintenance teams.

Handle flexible workload which may come from management or FC operations.

Participate in reliability conference calls and coordinate with Central Reliability Team to complete all tasks required.


Serve as the primary conduit for both upward and downward communication with the Central Reliability Team to both feed up information and data while disseminating and driving reliability efforts and programs downward to your local teams.

Drive and promote safety culture within the site including subcontractors, suppliers and visitors.

Provide engineering guidance to technicians as needed to ensure maintenance goals are aligned with site operation's needs.

Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver goods and services against contracts and expectations.

Support the Maintenance Manager in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the site as requested.

Develop a strong collaborative team-based environment.

Perform regular deep dives/data analysis to understand key focus areas for improvement across facility.

Deploy, manage, and improve predictive maintenance program, including Thermography, Vibration, and Ultrasound technologies.

Create, deploy, and share best practices at facility and share with other sites.

Lead continuous improvement events and generate cost savings that exceed site performance goals.

Travel as required to support network needs.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university PLUS 5 years of technical maintenance supervisory experience -OR

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent PLUS 12 years of technical maintenance supervisor experience
Prior leadership experience.

Flexibility to work various shifts and alternative work schedules as needed.

Experience performing maintenance on industrial machinery, electrical systems, and electronic controls.

Must be authorized to work within the hiring country without requiring company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience related to reliability program or asset management.
Previous experience supervising people, budgets and vendors.
Experience leveraging strong communication, presentation, and data analysis skills to forge productive client partnerships.
Experience using CMMS systems, including using reporting features to support root cause analysis (RCA) and forecasting projects.

Experience leading teams in industrial environments with material handling equipment (MHE) / conveyor and sortation systems; industrial automation, electronics, or control systems; powered industrial trucks (PIT); or general facility management operations.

Experience operating within preventive maintenance programs.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools, including 5S, 5Y, FMEA, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, Run Charts, and Pareto Analysis.
