We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Junior School as a
Before & After School Care Supervisor/Teaching Assistant.

This is a
full-time, fixed-term contract position from September 2023 to June 2024.

The Position:


Specific Accountabilities:


  • Work with teachers to support students individually and in small groups;
  • Provide coverage for teachers and supervise students during recess and lunch;
  • Participate and contribute to relevant professional development sessions;
  • Oversee the management of the Junior School After Care Program;
  • Provide enriching and engaging before and after care programming;
  • Contribute and maintain a safe, and nurturing environment
  • Maintain accurate records for billing
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Hours will either be 95pm or 106pm

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

  • Post Secondary Degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Assistant, or a Bachelor of Education (asset);
  • Member of the Ontario College of Teachers (asset);
  • Experience working with students from age 12;
  • Professional, organized, approachable, positive, flexible, creative, dependable;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
